Carole has studied many theories and approaches to healing and growth and integrates the best of these into her practice. She relies heavily on the theory and practice developed by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D. called Imago relationship therapy. She also draws upon the tenets of humanistic psychology as well as on Voice Dialogue, Psychology of the Aware Ego developed by Drs. Hal and Sidra Stone. She is passionate about her life and work and is committed to helping couples and individuals develop safe, loving relationships.
 She is a certified Imago therapist and workshop presenter and offers Getting the Love You Want Weekend Workshop for Couples and Keeping the Love You Find Workshop for Individuals in Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has been a therapist for 30 years and now practices in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Carole has an ability to inspire hope-fulness in people which is shaped by her varied life experiences and her belief that people want to love and be loved. She has a warm and interesting style and is able to create a safe place for the work of therapy to unfold.
Carole shares her office with her dog, Neesa. Neesa comes to work with Carole most days. She is hypoallergenic and doesn't shed. She likes greeting clients when they come, but generally sleeps through most of the sessions.
